It begins with the memorable field trip of last term.

“Field Trip” is the traditional activity of WHYIVY. At the end of every term, all teachers and students will go out for a trip for relaxation and study tour.

Field trip in July of 2015 was different from our former trips. Instead of choosing to experience exotic culture and atmosphere, or rather have a sightseeing tour all around of our nation, we went to the rural areas and visited the local families suffering from poverty. Since then, we maintained great relationship with children in Xiawei Town in Lin Yi.

In our eyes, they are always positive and never complain about their lives even they still live in families that are not so well off.

Some of them are introvert but willing to communicate with us.

At there, we carried water, chopped the firewood and eat together; we laughed and sang together. However, the pleasure time is short, in a wink, we need to leave and go back home.

After we came back, we were still thinking about their smiling face and what we can do for them. Our students suggest we hold a donation for them. Soon afterwards, our students gathered all their idles clothes, shoes and books, books and all necessities for the children. And more important, a genuine letter.

Waiting is long and anxious.

Finally, news of all stuff delivered arrived.

They are adequate for all children and their families.
